Program aimed at twenty-two regional innovative companies that had the opportunity to meet ten investors from Silicon Valley in Bologna.
Target: Startup and PMI
This program is addressed to twenty-two high-profile innovative companies in the region, with a lot of international potential, which had the opportunity to meet in Bologna ten investors from Silicon Valley that are members of investment funds, venture capital and corporate companies such as Garage Technology Ventures, Band of Angels, Orange, SK Telecom/SK Group, SoftBank.
The program was structured in various operational phases, consisting of the selection of the regional companies, two days of meetings with companies for preparation, and finally two days of meetings and pitches with investors.
The culmination of the program, which in the final phase took place simultaneously with R2B - Research to Business 2019, was when American investors visited some large companies in the region, such as Lamborghini, Ducati, Carpigiani. They also met the President of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Councilor for Productive Activities at the Region: during the meeting the regional policies and actions in favor of attractiveness were illustrated. The program came along with follow-up actions with the companies and the group of investors.
